Advertising emails are one of the fastest and cheapest advertising methods available to us. These emails, or newsletter as they are called, are a great way to maintain personalized contacts with customers and to promote your latest products, services, and schemes to a dedicated audience. Mail Chimp and Constant Contact share a fierce rivalry between them. Both have nearly same main features along with some unique features that have helped each tool to gain their popularity. The major difference between the two is in their pricing. Where mail chimp is free if you have a client database of less than 500 email addresses, Constant Contact charges atleast $15 for its services. Though Constant contact provide 60 day trial services if you wish to test the tool out your self.

This rivalry between the two tools is even visible in the twitter accounts of both tools. And it is no surprise that Mail Chimp appears to be leading the popularity race, but not by a huge margin.
